What a fantastic Christmas getaway! This charming heritage hotel is right on the coast, just a short drive from the city. The beach views from our room were amazing, and the dining experience was great with delicious food at reasonable prices. I especially loved the outdoor balcony where we enjoyed sunset drinks-definitely a highlight of the stay!
We did encounter a few hiccups. The room had some minor maintenance issues that needed attention, but they didn't ruin our overall experience. A bit of extra care would elevate this lovely place further.

I was upgraded to an exceptional deluxe queen room with amazing views. There were an electric kettle, a fridge, and glassware in the room too. Stunning location comfortable close to the beach was a plus. What's more, it was just off the ocean, Largs Pier and the main restaurant...

I was really frustrated with the parking situation! It was a total scramble, with random cars taking up spaces, and I ended up dragging my luggage from blocks away. Definitely not what I needed after a long journey.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience there. Large breakfast, good food, reasonably priced. Nicely decorated and well-equipped room and fantastic view of the ocean. Efficient check-in, parking on-site. Had free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

The room had a lovely four-poster bed which added a unique touch to our stay.
The bathroom greeted us with a filthy yellow industrial mop bucket, quite off-putting.

The room, designed for extra beds, provided ample space and a serene atmosphere. the well-maintained verandah added an extra touch of relaxation, perfect for enjoying the stunning surroundings.
On a minor note, I found the Wi-Fi connection occasionally spotty.

What a peach of a place! The views were stunnin', sittin' right by the beach, perfect for a cheeky sundowner. Service was top-notch, but the noise from nearby areas could be a bother. Still, a bangin' spot for a stay with mates!

I got great value for my money at this hotel, with a clean and spacious room that offered a lovely private patio overlooking the garden and beach.
Breakfast offerings could be improved by adding more variety to the menu.

A hidden gem by the beach
Always going the extra mile. The location is picture-perfect, with fine sunsets right from our private balcony. We loved the charming heritage decor!
While the apartment was cozy, it could use some updates. The kitchen lacked a few essential tools. Just a few minor inconveniences.

charming heritage stay but needs more cleaning attention
The historical hotel offered fine sea views from our balcony during sunset! The room was a cozy retreat with unique décor and an inviting four-poster bed. The staff was good, providing friendly service while dining at the bar.
Some areas, especially cleanliness, needed improvement.
